Opened in 2002, this 58,000 sq. ft. structure boasts meeting rooms, a gymnasium with seating for 1,000 and two racquetball courts. A weight room and cardiovascular area complement the facility’s offerings to the public. Fitness enthusiasts may use the areas for a daily fee. Larger areas are available for rent on a case-by-case approval basis.

School Year Building Hours

LMC Public Hours of operation during the school year are as follows:
Monday - Friday: 8:00 a.m - 11:00 a.m. AND 3:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Saturday: CLOSED
Sunday: CLOSED

Athletic Closures

The LMC closes its community use areas during home athletic events and other school activities. Individuals wanting to use the facility are encouraged to contact the LMC front desk to learn of schedules and changes.

Weather Closure

During bad weather, if the Council Bluffs School District has canceled classes, ISD and the LMC will be closed.

School Year Pool Hours

Due to damage incurred on the pool roof during a 2011 summer storm, the pool is closed until repairs are made.

Usage Fees

$3 per person drop-in fee for Wellness Rooms use only
$3 per person drop-in fee for pool use only
$5 per person drop-in fee for Wellness Rooms and pool use on same visit
$5 per person per hour drop-in fee for racquetball court use

*Racquetball court reservations are recommended and can be made up to one week in advance. To reserve a court, please call the LMC Front Desk at 366-3232 after 3:00 p.m..
